Braid Bootcamp

Description
Is your teen ready to turn their creativity into coin? This fall, enroll them in Braid Bootcamp, a 10-week Saturday workshop where high schoolers learn how to take their hair skills from hobby to hustle. Through hands-on braiding lessons and beginner-friendly business training, youth explore entrepreneurship, mentorship, and leadership—all in a fun and empowering environment. Hosted at our new Boxville studio, this experience is designed for Chicago students in grades 9–12 who are ready to build confidence and learn how to run a business. 💼 Each participant receives: - A custom Mane Hustle toolkit - A mannequin head for practice - End-of-program showcase opportunity - A chance to pitch in a Shark Tank style competition 🗓 Program Details: Dates: Saturdays, September 6 – November 8 Time: 12:30 PM – 2:30 PM Location: Ahead Academy at Boxville 330 E. 51st Street, Chicago, IL 60615 Grades: 9–12 Cost: $295 for the full series or $40 per session This program is designed to be taken as a full series, allowing students to build their skills week to week. However, we also offer individual drop-in classes for $40 each to give families flexibility. We're committed to access for all.
