Volunteers are at the heart of everything we do at Ahead Academy—they make our programs possible and bring so much energy and support to our students. By sharing their time and talents, our volunteers help us bring more confidence to young girls in our community.

Volunteer Application

Program Volunteer

Program Volunteers assist with hands-on activities, program setup, or engaging with students to help create a meaningful experience for our girls. Program Volunteers can sign up for a single session (or multiple) and make a big impact in just a few hours!

Program Mentors

Program Mentors inspire and support girls as they develop confidence, entrepreneurship skills, and self-expression through hair education. Mentors are asked to attend at least three program sessions, providing ongoing guidance, encouragement, and real-world insights to help our students thrive in a space designed just for them!

Event Volunteers

Event Volunteers help bring Ahead Academy’s special events to life by assisting with setup, registration, logistics, and creating a welcoming environment for attendees. Whether it’s a workshop, fundraiser, or community gathering, Event Volunteers play a key role in making each event a success.
